1. Overview
At Amanda Nichols (“we,” “us,” or “our”), we strive to provide high-quality digital production services to nonprofits. Due to the nature of our digital services, refunds and returns work differently compared to physical products. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be granted and how you can request one.
By purchasing our services through anichols.org, you acknowledge and agree to this Refunds & Returns Policy.
2. Refund Eligibility
Since our services involve custom digital production work, refunds are generally not available once work has commenced. However, we do offer refunds in the following cases:
2.1 Refunds Before Work Has Started
- If you cancel your order before we begin working on your project, you are eligible for a full refund minus any processing fees charged by third-party payment providers.
2.2 Refunds for Work in Progress
- If you decide to cancel after work has started but before the final delivery, a partial refund may be granted based on the amount of work completed. You will be responsible for paying for the portion of work already performed.
2.3 No Refunds for Completed Work
- Once a project is fully completed and delivered, no refunds will be issued.
- If you are unsatisfied with the final product, we will offer reasonable revisions (see Section 4 below) to address any concerns.
2.4 Refunds for Service Issues
We may issue a full or partial refund if:
- A service cannot be completed due to unforeseen circumstances on our end.
- You were charged incorrectly due to a billing error.
- The final work does not meet the agreed-upon scope (as documented in our written agreement or proposal).
3. How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund request, please follow these steps:
- Email Us: Send a refund request to [email protected] with the subject line “Refund Request – [Your Project Name]”.
- Include Details: Provide your name, order number, reason for the refund request, and any supporting documentation (e.g., contracts, email conversations).
- Processing Time: We will review your request and respond within 5 business days.
- Refund Method: Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.
4. Revision Policy
- If you are not satisfied with the final digital product, you are entitled to two (2) free revisions within 14 days of delivery.
- Additional revisions beyond the two free ones may be subject to extra charges, which will be communicated in advance.
- Revision requests must be in line with the original project scope. Requests for major changes outside of the agreed scope may require a new project agreement.
5. Fees & Costs
- Processing Fees: If a refund is granted, any third-party payment processing fees (e.g., PayPal, Stripe) may be deducted from the refund amount.
- Project-Specific Costs: If your project involved third-party tools, software, or assets purchased specifically for your work, those costs may be non-refundable.
